Will it fit your boat?
Enter your space. Get the 400 mm vs 600 mm answer with the dealer planning minimums.
How to measure
Height is from the top of the future tank to the first obstruction overhead, because the shaft and hoist stand above the tank and you must be able to reach the manual raising fitting. Tank length is straight, usable run on the centerline (400 mm) or in the chosen bay (600 mm).
Not sure? Send photos with a tape in frame through the quote form and we'll have a dealer from our licensed, insured, certified and Furuno-approved network look at it.
Fit questions, answered
What do the 400 mm and 600 mm numbers mean?
That's the hull unit's travel: how far the transducer drops below the hull when lowered. Furuno omni hoists come in 400 mm and 600 mm versions, and both use the same 190 mm hull tubes.
What space does each hoist need?
Dealers planning Furuno omni installs quote these minimums: for a tank in the keel, 400 mm travel with at least a 24-inch straight tank and 30 inches of clear height above it. For a tank off the keel centerline, 600 mm travel with at least 32 inches of tank and 36 inches of height. Leave extra room to reach the manual raising fitting.
My numbers are tight. Is the install dead?
Usually not. Installers solve tight spaces with tank placement, a different stringer bay or custom tank work. The checker is for planning; a survey of your boat decides.
Have a dealer confirm the fit
We have the contacts and the expertise to recommend the right installer for your boat. We work with a network of licensed, insured, certified and Furuno-approved dealers, and because of the volume we send them, we have pre-negotiated discounted rates. Tell us about the boat and we'll come back with a recommendation and pricing.
- Recommendations from people who work in marine electronics every day, not a call center.
- Pricing through dealers who have pre-negotiated volume rates with us.
- Your details go to one recommended dealer, never to a list.
