The fish alarm watches a zone for you and sounds when an echo above your set strength enters it.
At a glance
- Sonar menu, Fish Alarm ON, then Alarm Zone
- Start and end points at least 3 degrees apart make a fan
- Less than 3 degrees makes a 360 degree zone
- The level is set by echo color
About 5 minutes. Part of Run the CSH-10.
Turning it on
Open the Sonar menu, set Fish Alarm to ON, then set the Alarm Zone.
Setting the zone
Choose the start and end points. If they are at least 3 degrees apart you get a fan-shaped zone between them. If they are less than 3 degrees apart the zone is a full 360 degrees around the boat.
Setting the level
The alarm sounds when the echo strength is greater than the level you set. The level is chosen by echo color, so you choose how strong an echo has to be before you are called.
